Eco Emi is an Eco-friendly subscription box service that sends at least 5 samples (or sometimes full sized items) to you each month for $15 shipped. They send you all natural products that can range from skin, hair, and nail products to snacks, teas, and other lifestyle type items.
My favorite thing about this box is the fact that it offers a great variety of products that are healthy, natural, and organic. It’s the best of worlds when your box contains a little bag of beauty products, plus had a couple healthy natural snacks to try, and in the case of my February box, an extra lifestyle product too. So it has a lot of different points of appeal that way for subscription box junkies. Here’s everything I got in my February box:
- Eyelash Conditioner by Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques – Full Size Tube – Appx value $10.00
- Tea Light Candles by Goodlight Natural Candles (6 Pack) – Appx. value $2.49
- Vegan Lip Balm by Jersey Shore Sun
- Roasted Garlic All Natural Hummus Dip by Wild Garden 1 Pack (5 pieces) – Appx. value $4.29
- Organic Hairspray by Aubrey Organics 1 oz – Appx value $1.99
- Lavish Face Mask by Blissoma – 2oz. is appx. $33.99 (not sure what size the sample is – came in a small 3-5g jar)
- Chocolate Vanilla Paste by Premier Organics – 1 Pouch – Appx. value $1.16
They had the little items wrapped up inside the box in tissue paper as well, which was cute – but I didn’t take a photo of that before unwrapping. They have all the beauty products conveniently inside of a large organza drawstring bag, and then had the snacks, candles, and coupons well placed in a priority mail box along with some colorful tissue paper.
Have heard some good things about this product and am excited to try it. It’s got vitamins, herbs, and extract to help feed and protect lashes. I’ve never used any type of eyelash conditioner or treatments before, but it seems like a reasonable concept considering we condition our other hair regularly. It’s supposed to promote healthier and longer lashes. Have only used it once so far, so I don’t have much to report yet on how it works. The tube has a mascara wand for easy application. You’re supposed to apply it 3 times per week and leave it on for 20 minutes (or overnight).
Pack of 6 natural tea lights made from Palm Wax with pure cotton wicks. Think its cool that they are Paraffin free, lead free, non-toxic, clean burning, and eco friendly. We’ve been using them in our floating tea lights for the bath tub. They are perfect for them because the candles in the tub are always in such close proximity to us plus being in an enclosed space we are glad to have these to use! They burn for about 4 hours each, and are a little larger than regular tea lights.
This organic hairspray is infused with quinoa proteins, and is USDA, NOP certified organic. I will say that I rarely use hairspray so I haven’t used it enough to give it a fair review as far as hold goes. I have tried it once since I’ve gotten it, and I love that it’s got such a natural herbal smell.
Nice vegan wintermint flavored lipbalm. Love that it’s earth friendly and cruelty free. It’s got anti-aging properties and the ingredients are said to be gentle enough to use on other areas of the face as well for things like winter sports, too. Love that it’s got rosemary, calendula, and a bunch of other great oils. It gets so dry here in the winter that I have to put on chap stick constantly to keep my lips from getting dry. Have probably used this stuff every day since it arrived and it works really well. I had just run out, so this was a perfect addition to my box.
My boyfriend and I tried this mask last night. It’s got a nice moisturizing formula. It’s made with anti-reactive herbs, restorative oils, and cupuacu butter. The sample jar had just enough for us each to cover our face with it. Our skin felt good afterwards and would definitely say this a great mask for people with dry winter skin. Left my skin feeling super soft and looking great!
Tasted good, had a nice strong garlic flavor. The squeezable single serving packet was really convenient too – perfect for a mess free meal on the go and also great for portion control!
Made from premium Venezuelan Heirloom Cacao, boosted with Ayurveda Herbs and a hint of hazelnuts. This is like a healthier, non-dairy, slightly more gourmet version of Nutella. It’s got a low glycemic index, and is certified organic by QAI. It tastes kind of like a darker chocolate version of Nutella – we thought it actually had a better, more authentic taste. Also comes in convenient pouches great for snacking on the go or portion control!
This was my first month trying it – so I’ll keep next months box on order to feel them out some more and go from there on deciding to keep them. You definitely get more than the value you pay for the box, though! Definitely recommend trying it for anyone that is interested in incorporating more natural, organic, or healthy products into their makeup routine or lifestyle in general. You get to try out a wide selection of natural, healthy, and organic products that range from beauty to snacks to lifestyle – which is an especially nice thing for those trying to decide between many different types of monthly subscription boxes. It’s a well rounded box that has good sized and/or premium samples along with some full sized products. They include special offers and coupons for some the vendors in that months box, too. Well worth checking out!
